Enjoy a gallery of highlights from Sunday’s market!

A group of people stands along a waterfront, facing the water. They are dressed in casual outdoor clothing and some are wearing hats. In the background, a pier extends into the water, and mountains are visible in the distance under a partly cloudy sky.

Year three at Sketcher Fest was great fun! Outreach Coordinator Cole Morreale and Retail and Shipping Specialist Ron Ransom staffed the Art Toolkit table at this year’s Sketchbook Fair & Art Market and had a fantastic time meeting attendees in person.

A ferry docked at a pier with a calm water surface reflecting the cloudy sky. The shoreline is visible, showing wet sand and pilings of the dock.
The ferry docked in Edmonds in time for a quick table set-up at the Waterfront Center.

The day started with a heavy cloud layer, later opening for blue and sunny skies.

A person stands smiling in front of a tall totem pole outside a modern building. They are wearing a black oversized hoodie and matching pants, and making a peace sign with one hand. The totem pole features vibrant colors and traditional designs.

Setting up the table!
A man sits at a long, empty table in a well-lit room with large windows overlooking a body of water. The setting appears to be an event space with black tablecloths and grid-like displays behind him.

A vendor booth displays a variety of art supplies and tools, including packaged items and brochures, on a black table. A man stands beside the table, looking at the products, with a view of the ocean and a pier visible through large windows in the background.
After (featuring Ron).
A vendor displays various handmade products at a local market, while several customers, including a woman with glasses and a man wearing a hat, engage in conversation and examine the items.

Folks set up to sketch the scenery as the ferry crossed from Kingston to Edmonds throughout the day.

Two individuals sketching by the waterfront. One woman sits with a light blue sun hat and purple hoodie, focused on her drawing. The second person, wearing a dark shirt and hat, stands behind her, working on an easel by the rocks. A group of people is visible in the background along the promenade.

A trio of musicians performs outdoors near a waterfront. One musician plays a double bass, while another plays an electric guitar and a third is on drums. People relax in the background, and a ferry is visible in the distance under a clear blue sky.
Live music added to the ambiance.

We were overwhelmed by your positivity and excitement for sketching together and browsing the selection of Art Toolkits, palettes, and other supplies we brought across the water to share with you all. Thank you to the dozens of volunteers, artists, and organizations who made Sketcher Fest a success!
