The archival giclée prints below are all of field sketches from Maria Coryell-Martin’s explorations of the Salish Sea completed during her Washington State Ferries artist-in-residency and time on the local beaches. Her work highlights how the Salish Sea defines the Port Townsend region through its shifting light and atmosphere. Maria hopes to encourage a deeper appreciation for changing marine landscapes, to see the familiar in a new light, and to seek adventures close to home.
