A Clean Edge

Originally modeled after designs on traditional Japanese paper (washi), washi tape was invented by a Japanese masking tape company for use in arts and crafts and commonly features a repeating pattern of art or designs that run the length of the roll.

Art Toolkit’s bold yet minimalistic washi tape design and clean removal makes it a versatile tape for many contexts. Use it for masking flowing watercolor paintings, fixing paper mementos and other light objects into our sketchbooks, and decorating letters to friends. Washi Tape slips easily into the horizontal pockets of both Pocket and A5 Art Toolkits.

Made from rice paper and printed with soy-based ink and a water-based coating, Art Tookit Washi Tape is environmentally friendly and fully biodegradable. We’re excited to add a cute and versatile art accessory to our shop!
