We love our constellation of retailers around the world: art stores that are hubs for their communities, and a great place to find our supplies without the shipping!

About Art Supply Center

Today we’re happy to introduce Art Supply Center in Portland, Oregon, which has been serving artists in their community and around the world for over 70 years.

Paper, brushes, and all sorts of supplies!

Founded in 1955 as a family business, and woman-owned since 2000, Art Supply Center’s staff call themselves as “a goofy bunch of nerdy art supply experts who love to help you from start to finish on all of your creative adventures.”

The store buys, sells, and trades, which means they have new, used, and rare art supplies. They also have a vintage art supply museum! Art Supply Center is a treasure trove for discoveries—you never know what you might find.

They also offer professional custom framing services, as well as DIY framing supplies, as part of their charmingly named business I’ve Been Framed.

A wooden display box labeled "Testing Station" contains color samples organized in envelopes. Surrounding it are various artistic palettes showcasing warm, earthy tones, watercolors, and color mixing techniques. Papers with notes and color swatches are pinned to a wall behind the station.
