Landscape Trio Demonstration

Our Duotone Toolkits inspired us to make little thumbnail sketches of the forest, ocean, and desert.

By The Art Toolkit Team

A hand holds a small, square watercolor sketch of forested hills with a blurry palette and other sketches in the background.

Back in May, we shared a short teaser on Instagram of a series of environment-themed sketches. Our latest Toolkits, the Duotone colorway launched in spring, inspired us to make little thumbnail sketches of the forest, ocean, and desert.

Today, we are sharing this longer-format Landscape Trio Demonstration with you all and invite you to follow along as Maria paints a misty forest, open ocean, and hilly desert. These little landscapes came from her imagination and her desire to play. Playing is such a wonderful way to explore what your paints and colors can do!
