About the Workshop
Join us online on Saturday, October 3rd from 8am–10:30am Pacific for People and Places in Mixed Media: Sketch Dynamic Scenes with Suhita Shirodkar!
In this workshop, participants will work with a fun, color-first approach to sketching people and architecture. The workshop will begin with an exploration of mixed media, ranging from watercolor and ink to crayons and colored pencils. Suhita will share tips she has developed over the years for layering media to create a variety of effects, before demonstrating a beginner-friendly technique for drawing people on-location.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have created a mixed media sketch that captures the energy of people and place, with the tools and techniques to sketch dynamic scenes using a variety of materials wherever you go!
We hope to see you there!
