Enrich Your Daily Sketches.

Join us online on Saturday, November 2nd, from 10am – 12:30pm Pacific for Mixed Media on Location: Enrich Your Daily Sketches with Suhita Shirodkar!

If you love the rich, layered quality that mixed media offers but are overwhelmed by all the different materials out there, this workshop is for you! With Suhita's guidance, students will learn how to design a compact mixed-media kit for plein air sketching and render a scene using different techniques and tools.

In this workshop, Suhita invites you to expand your creative process by using a variety of supplies in a single sketch, such as pens, colored pencils, crayons, and, of course, watercolor!

We hope you can join us!

A woman in a patterned shirt and headscarf cooks at a stove, focused on her task. The scene is depicted in loose, expressive watercolor strokes, with a soft gray background.
A vibrant watercolor sketch depicting a bustling farmers' market scene. Two shoppers are examining fruits at colorful stalls, surrounded by a variety of fresh produce. Flags and signage add to the lively atmosphere.
A vibrant watercolor painting showcasing a cluster of white flowers against a blue sky. The flowers are depicted with bold brush strokes, surrounded by green foliage and hints of yellow.
A market scene featuring two people interacting near a vendor's stall. One person is holding a basket, while another carries a crate. Tents are visible in the background, with various items scattered around the ground. The artwork uses a combination of pen and watercolor.
A watercolor scene depicting a park with people sitting on benches, trees, and a tall building in the background. The atmosphere is lively with splashes of color and blurred figures enjoying the outdoors.
