See, Sea, and Sketch

February 14, 2025 at 12:00 PM – March 1, 2025 at 4:00 PM

Come visit the Flagship Building in downtown Port Townsend, where our friends (and neighbors!) at the Marine Science Center will be hosting the event series, “See, Sea, and Sketch!”

Bring your sketchbook and sketching supplies to capture a variety of marine animal specimens, from bird skulls to sea shells! The Port Townsend Marine Science Center (PTMSC) invites you to sketch and learn about marine specimens together. If you're looking to add some color to your sketches, stop by and borrow one of our demo kits to use an Explore Palette Plus while you sketch.

The sketch events are free and recommended for adults and children 10+ (adults must accompany children younger than 10). We will have marine-themed coloring pages and crayons available for children with adults who are sketching.

Visit our retail shop next door and receive a 10% discount when you share any completed sketches with our retail staff.

Read more about the event on their website for a complete list of dates!
