Sketcher Fest 2026

This year’s Sketcher Fest was inspiring, dynamic, and busy for the Art Toolkit Team!

This was our fourth year at Sketcher Fest Edmonds! From being an event sponsor and selling Art Toolkit supplies, to the Artist Talk and workshop led by Art Toolkit Founder and Expeditionary Artist Maria Coryell-Martin, our team was happy to participate in so many ways this year!

Guest Artist: Maria Coryell-Martin

Maria was invited to be a Guest Artist at Sketcher Fest Edmonds, leading an Artist Talk, workshop, and sharing her art at Sunday’s Sketchbook Fair, where she brought sketchbooks and prints!

For her Artist Talk, Sketching with Purpose, Maria shared how she has transformed her creative passion into purposeful projects and provided tips and tools for artists to do the same. We were thrilled by the response to her workshop, Elements of Nature, which sold out quickly and offered a lovely occasion to paint in a longer format with a smaller group.

Sunday Sketchbook Fair

For our forth year in a row, we joined a few other businesses and 21 incredible Guest Artists at the Sketchbook Fair on Sunday! The day was bustling with activity and it was a wonderful experience to be surrounded by the chatter of artists and enthusiastic sketchers talking about art!

Our table was busy all day, and we enjoyed helping folks pick out pans to fill their palettes at the special custom palette station!

It was extra special to see Art Toolkit Ambassador Sophia Trinh in person, so Outreach Coordinator Cole Morreale snagged a quick selfie!

Build Your Own Salish Waves Folio Palette!

For Sketcher Fest this year, we unveiled our new limited-edition Salish Waves Folio Palette, with the opportunity for attendees to mix and match pans to build their own unique palette arrangement!
