Paint with Graphite

Change the way you think about graphite! Made by the Portuguese pencil company Viarco, founded in 1907, this innovative watersoluble graphite can be diluted with a wet brush into a full range of values, from deep blacks, to subtle, shimmering washes. Experiment with the varying transparencies and textured effects of this medium as you explore value sketches, or combine with ink and watercolor. ArtGraf Watersoluble Graphite binds to paper and is also fully erasable once dry.

Slip a Tin in Your Toolkit

ArtGraf Watersoluble Graphite is activated with water, so we recommend using a Rosemary & Co travel brush or Aquash Water Brush to apply this medium to your page! Keep a Faber-Castell Kneadable Eraser handy to lift dried graphite, as you would with your favorite pencil.

The small, round tin can be easily slipped into one of the horizontal pockets of your A5 Art Toolkit or Pocket Art Toolkit (pictured here) to take on your adventures anytime, anywhere!
