Folio Explore Set

The Folio Explore Set includes a holiday-special Gold Folio Palette, a Medium Aquash Water Brush, Hahnemühle Large Travel Booklets (2-pack), and a Triad Template.

We created the Folio Explore Set with inspiration from minimalist kits, while inviting the opportunity for an expanded palette and plenty of mixing space. This limited-edition Folio Palette includes 12 paint-filled Mini Pans to get you started, with an additional nine Standard Pans and Double Pans to fill with your favorite pigments at home. As a bonus, we included a Triad Template in the Folio Explore Set as a tool for plotting triads and exploring color mixes on location!

We’re including limited-edition gold palettes with these sets, in all three sizes, to bring a little sparkle and shine to the season! Each palette includes the 12-color paints by Da Vinci Paint Co. to kick-start your painting adventures.

Try mixing the colors you see in little circles on the page, and label them. What is in your backyard? Find your sky blue and earthy yellow. This year’s Holiday Sets feature a gold paint-filled palette at the heart. Informed by the popularity of paint-filled palettes in years past, we designed each Holiday Set to include our Explore Palette’s 12 watercolors by Da Vinci Paint Co. These paints are made from concentrated, professional-grade pigments with a high degree of lightfastness. When you start to run low on your favorite color, head to our website or retail shop for refills of Da Vinci Paint Co. 15ml Watercolors, or choose from a selection of Daniel Smith 15ml Extra Fine Watercolors.
