1003 Water Street, Port Townsend, Washington 98368, United States

Join Art Toolkit Founder and Expeditionary Artist Maria Coryell-Martin on Saturday, June 6th from 12pm–2pm for an Expressive Skies Sketch & Stroll at our retail shop for an afternoon of sketching in downtown Port Townsend!

Maria will warm us up with a demo on sketching expressive skies in watercolor, including tips and techniques for color and composition. The demo will be followed by time for independent sketching, then we'll gather as a group for a sketchbook share and photo.

Bring your favorite sketchbook and supplies, and we’ll have Art Toolkit watercolor palettes and brushes available to borrow! Enthusiastic artists of all ages and levels are welcome to this free event. We hope to see you there!

This event is co-sponsored by the Port Townsend Marine Science Center in support of Maria’s Salish Explorations exhibit at their gallery which runs through July 31st, 2026. Learn more about related events, and visit the gallery just down the hall from our retail shop this season!
