Phenology Wheels with Sandy Allnock

Illustrate and record the cycles of nature in your sketchbook with phenology wheels in this online demo with Pacific Northwest artist Sandy Allnock!

Phenology Wheels with Sandy Allnock

Wednesday, April 8th from noon–1pm Pacific

Join us online on Wednesday, April 8th at noon Pacific for our live demo, Phenology Wheels with Sandy Allnock! Join live on YouTube or watch a recording on our Demos page afterwards.

In this demo, learn how to create your own phenology wheel—one of the most beautiful forms of nature journaling. A phenology wheel is a circular piece of art with small paintings created each day after your morning walk. Phenology, which is the study of the changes in nature over time, helps you engage with the natural world around you, and a tiny daily painting can transform your relationship with both the outdoors and with art.

Bring a couple of your favorite round brushes, some loose sheets of watercolor paper, and paints in your favorite bright and springy hues. Sandy will be sharing a special discount on art classes for live demo participants, so be sure to join us!
