This is a recording from our live demo, Sketching on the Trail, with watercolor artist and adventurer Max Romey on December 18th, 2024.

In this demo, Max introduced our latest limited-edition collaboration, the Trailbound Set, and walked participants through sketching a colorful landscape from his home state of Alaska! Download the reference photo Max uses here.

With small, compact supplies, you can create art every day, no matter where your adventures take you, and the Trailbound Set was designed and curated to support that mission. Each set contains a limited-edition Red Demi Palette, Trail Tiles, and a mini Aquash Water Brush.

Together, we explored how using loose brushstrokes in vibrant watercolors supports an imaginative interpretation of your surroundings. Max’s team at Trailbound Sketches adds, “We will welcome happy accidents and have fun creating a vibrant painting!”
