Chelsea’s Recommended Supplies

  • Watercolor or multimedia paper

Either loose or in a sketchbook.

Whatever sizes you’re most comfortable with. I tend to use 2 and 4 the most when traveling.

                What to expect

Art Toolkit workshops are live events that take place on Zoom. During the workshop, you will have a chance to ask the instructor questions. After the workshop, we’ll provide you with a link to a recording to review on your own time (viewable for at least six months).

We’ll be in touch a week before the workshop with instructions for connecting and additional information. Please remember to adjust for your time zone. Tickets are non-refundable, but we may be able to transfer your ticket to another student if there is a waitlist.

We present our workshops with automated captions. If you wish to request additional accommodations, please let us know in advance.

Curious about tickets, technical details, gifting workshops, or anything else? Please see our frequently asked questions page for more details, and please don’t hesitate to contact us for help.

                About Chelsea

Chelsea is a California native, plant lover, cat lady and travel addict. After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a BFA in Studio Art, Chelsea flew off to Italy for 2 years to fill sketchbooks and create while abroad.

In 2012, she returned to California and started turning her sketches and paintings into prints and greeting cards. Sketchy Notions has since grown to a collection of over 100 card designs for various occasions, as well as a variety of colorful and cheerful paper goods and products.

In May of 2020, Chelsea joined us for a live demo, in which she shared ideas and techniques for painting sunflowers, as well as her approach to lettering.
