Watercolor mountain painting by Max Romey.

From Mountain Top to Table Top

Learn how to bring the wilderness alive in your watercolor paintings at home.

Online Workshop with Max Romey

It can be difficult to fully capture a landscape while you are in it. This course takes you from creating your initial mountain top sketches to finishing your painting on your studio tabletop. Max Romey shares the process and tips he has learned from sketching on the fly and how he brings the wilderness alive at home. All levels are welcome!

We’re doing this workshop twice! Choose from:

  • Sunday, February 7th, from 10am-12pm Pacific (sold out); or
  • Saturday, February 13th, from 10am-12pm Pacific (sold out).

What to expect

Art Toolkit workshops are live events that take place on Zoom. During the workshop, you will have a chance to ask the instructor questions. After the workshop, we’ll provide you with a recording to review on your own time.

We’ll be in touch a week before the workshop with instructions for connecting and additional information. Please remember to adjust for your time zone. Tickets are non-refundable, but we may be able to transfer your ticket to another student if there is a waitlist.

Curious about tickets, technical details, gifting workshops, or anything else? Please see our frequently asked questions page for more details, and please don’t hesitate to contact us for help.
